7 Years

Jonathan and I celebrated our 7th anniversary this week!  Wow!  Seven years feels simultaneously like such a long time and just like a drop in the bucket - especially as our parents celebrate their 30th and 38th anniversaries this year.  We hired a babysitter and went out to a super nice Italian restaurant in Driftwood (a small town about 45 minutes away from us with several wineries).  We ate some ridiculously good food, drank a bottle of good wine, and enjoyed a wonderful evening together.  Our table looked out over the garden, and throughout the early evening we saw several hummingbirds stopping at the flowers.  A very special way to celebrate a special day!  Can't wait to see what the next 7 years brings us!
